Shocking: Woman who stole Ashley Biden’s diary gets jail!

New York Woman Sentenced to Prison for Stealing Joe Biden’s Daughter’s Diary

NEW YORK — A shocking case involving the theft of a diary belonging to Joe Biden’s daughter has come to a dramatic conclusion as the culprit, Aimee Harris, has been sentenced to a month in prison.

But that’s not all – Harris will also face three months of home confinement for her actions involving personal items belonging to Ashley Biden.

What led to this shocking turn of events? Harris, a 41-year-old resident of Palm Beach, Florida, admitted to stealing the diary and other belongings from a house in Delray Beach, Florida, where Ashley Biden had stayed in 2020.

What makes this case even more intriguing is the fact that Harris received $20,000 (£15,800) from Project Veritas, a controversial group known for conducting hidden-camera stings targeting news outlets, government officials, and politicians.

Despite her guilty plea to a charge of conspiracy to transport stolen property across state lines, Harris tried to sell the diary to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign before turning to Project Veritas when the former declined.

As the court proceedings unfolded, it was revealed that Harris and a co-defendant, Robert Kurlander, had attempted to profit from the stolen diary for political gain. Kurlander too has pleaded guilty and awaits sentencing.

The aftermath of this case saw FBI agents conducting searches at the homes of Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe and two employees, although no charges were filed against the organization itself.

Project Veritas ultimately did not publish the diaries, which reportedly detailed Ashley Biden’s recovery from substance addiction. Another right-wing outlet later published redacted versions of the diaries.

President of the Project Veritas board of directors, Ben Wetmore, defended the organization’s actions by stating that they had turned the diary over to authorities and faced unjust legal battles as a result.

Despite her initial defiance, Harris eventually apologized to the court and Ashley Biden during the hearing, citing personal struggles as a contributing factor to her actions.

Prosecutors highlighted the severity of Harris’ actions, emphasizing that exploiting personal belongings for political gain is both morally wrong and illegal, regardless of one’s political beliefs.
