Shocking: California parents arrested for baby’s disappearance!

Tragic Turn of Events in Cabazon: Parents of Missing 7-Month-Old Arrested in Murder Investigation

In a shocking twist, authorities in Southern California apprehended the parents of a missing 7-month-old boy on Friday as part of a murder probe, declaring their belief that the child is no longer alive.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department disclosed that after further investigation, the reported kidnapping of the infant in Yucaipa was deemed false, leading the search efforts to focus on locating the remains of the boy, identified as Emmanuel.

Jake Haro, 32, and Rebecca Haro, 41, were taken into custody at their residence in Cabazon, situated approximately 20 miles (32 kilometers) from Palm Springs.

Both individuals have been incarcerated in a Riverside County jail, with no option for bail.

These arrests transpired slightly over a week following Rebecca Haro’s claim of being assaulted outside a store in Yucaipa while changing her son’s diaper, alleging that he was subsequently abducted.

Authorities uncovered discrepancies in her narrative, leading to her refusal to cooperate with the investigation.

Sheriff’s officials conducted a search of the family’s home as part of their inquiries, while Jake Haro has since enlisted the services of a legal representative.

The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that they are assessing the case, although it remains uncertain whether Rebecca Haro has secured legal counsel.

Previously, Jake Haro made a public plea for the safe return of his child, appealing on KTLA, “Whoever took my son, please return him, we just want him back.”

The investigation is still ongoing. — Agencies
