Reasons for using fragrance vary, with 46% promoting relaxation, 22% energizing the space, and 18% fostering calmness. The survey highlights the scientifically proven link between the sense of smell and mood, showing that KSA residents view fragrance as a powerful emotional well-being tool. 63% of respondents consistently use scents to enhance their mood, showcasing fragrance as a key element in fostering positivity and comfort while maintaining cleanliness.

A Shift in Home Care Preferences

In KSA, 93% of residents clean their homes not just for hygiene but also to create a pleasant mood and atmosphere. Over half of respondents prioritize long-lasting fragrances that help set the mood, ensuring the home feels inviting even after cleaning. During significant events like Ramadan and Eid, traditional cleaning practices are observed by a majority of KSA households, emphasizing the role of fragrance in creating a welcoming environment.

Modern Cleaning Meets Emotional Well-Being

With 69% of KSA respondents considering fragrance essential for creating the desired home ambiance, the survey reveals a trend towards modern cleaning techniques. Changes include increased frequency, a shift towards store-bought products, and the adoption of modern cleaning tools. Fragrance plays a positive role in enhancing mood and well-being for 63% of KSA respondents, contributing to a clean atmosphere, luxury, relaxation, and personal comfort.
