Saudi Champion Saeed Al-Mouri Makes a Roaring Comeback in Radical World Championship
The Saudi powerhouse, Saeed Al-Mouri, leading the charge for Saudi Hankook Team, left a lasting impression during his recent stint in the final round of the Radical World Championship in Abu Dhabi. Behind the wheel of a Radical SR8 outfitted with Hankook Ventus F200 tires, Al-Mouri showcased his prowess on the track after a 12-year hiatus since his previous championship victory.
Securing a special invitation to represent Saudi Arabia in the World Champions competition, Al-Mouri claimed an impressive fourth place in the Platinum class in the initial race. Despite facing adversity in the final race, Al-Mouri managed to break into the top ten, narrowly missing out on second place in the Platinum class due to a minor collision.
Overflowing with joy, Al-Mouri exclaimed, “I never imagined I would achieve such a result and represent Saudi Arabia and our sponsors on the world stage in such a spectacular fashion. While various factors hindered my quest for victory, notably the age of the car, this experience was truly special. It was an honor to represent Saudi Arabia and achieve the highest result by a Saudi or Gulf driver in this championship.
