BCI Unveils State-of-the-Art Plant in Riyadh
BCI has officially opened its cutting-edge plant in Riyadh’s Second Industrial City, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s global expansion strategy. Specializing in polyurethane systems, polyester polyols, and specialty adhesives, BCI’s new facility underscores its dedication to industrial development and sustainability, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Gala Dinner Celebration
To commemorate this milestone, BCI hosted a Gala dinner on December 10, 2024, at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. The event was graced by Eng. Khalil Ibrahim bin Salamah, Deputy Minister of Industry & Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs, as well as top figures from the public and private sectors, CEOs of leading chemical industry firms, and key BCI clients.
Plant Tour and Technological Showcase
The following day, guests were treated to a guided tour of BCI’s new facility, exploring its state-of-the-art technologies and machinery used in polyurethane manufacturing. A captivating video presentation highlighted the company’s journey in the industry and its forward-thinking strategies in Saudi Arabia.
Sustainable Innovation at the Core
Spanning 10,000 square meters, BCI’s new plant boasts fully automated operations, a first in Saudi Arabia and the region. Initial production capacity stands at 40,000 tons annually, set to increase to 60,000 tons in the near future. The facility focuses on producing materials for various industries, prioritizing sustainability through non-toxic materials and energy-efficient technologies.
Ministry Commends BCI’s Initiatives
During the dinner, Eng. Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salma praised BCI’s commitment to advancing the industrial landscape in Saudi Arabia. He highlighted the ministry’s support for industrial investments and local content enhancement, in line with Vision 2030.
