In a groundbreaking move, Electromin, a trailblazing Saudi provider of smart mobility and new energy solutions, has been instrumental in the success of the Electromin-sponsored Nissan Formula E Team since the beginning of this season’s championship in December 2024.
Over the weekend, Electromin made history as the Nissan Formula E Team clinched second place on day 1 and first place on day 2 at the Formula E Jeddah E-Prix, showcasing yet another milestone in their strategic partnership with the Japanese team. This consecutive victory, following the team’s triumph in the Mexico City E-Prix last month, highlights Electromin’s unwavering dedication to innovation and sustainability in the world of motorsport.
As the first Saudi private-sector company to collaborate with a global Formula E team, Electromin’s partnership with Nissan marks a significant achievement. The alliance, announced on October 15, 2024, through a four-year global agreement, aims to propel the future of electric mobility. The formalization of this partnership took place at a signing ceremony in Jeddah on Wednesday, Feb. 12, emphasizing the shared vision of innovation and sustainability between the two entities.
Setting a new standard for the race team, Electromin provided electric bus transfers for the team’s entire stay in Jeddah, promoting eco-friendly transportation. This initiative underscores Electromin’s leadership in smart mobility solutions.
