Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez Confirm Engagement
RIYADH — In a romantic gesture that has set social media abuzz, Portuguese football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez have officially announced their engagement.
Rodriguez, aged 31, took to Instagram on Aug. 11 from Riyadh to share the exciting news, posting a photo of her hand intertwined with Ronaldo’s, showcasing a stunning oval-shaped diamond engagement ring.
With a translated caption that read, “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives,” Rodriguez expressed her joy and commitment.
The couple, who have been together since 2017, are proud parents to five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo (8), daughter Alana (7), daughter Bella (3), and Ronaldo’s 15-year-old son Cristiano Jr.
Tragically, the couple faced the heartbreaking loss of Bella’s newborn twin brother, Ángel, in April 2022.
The public first caught a glimpse of Ronaldo and Rodriguez’s relationship at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich back in January 2017, and the couple later made their love official on Instagram.
Their love story began when Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store, where Ronaldo first laid eyes on her.
