Cabinet condemns threats to two-state solution

The Cabinet Takes Action Against Corruption

In a bold move to combat corruption, the Saudi Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority has approved two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Uzbekistan’s General Prosecutor’s Office and Anti-Corruption Agency. These agreements are aimed at preventing and fighting corruption on a global scale, signaling a strong stance against illegal practices.

Additionally, a model MoU for cooperation in the field of human rights has been established between the Saudi Human Rights Commission and its international counterparts. This model sets the framework for future collaborations in promoting and protecting human rights around the world. The President of the Human Rights Commission, or his deputy, has been granted the authority to negotiate and sign similar MoUs with other countries based on this approved model.

Collaboration in Outer Space

In another groundbreaking decision, the Council has approved a MoU on cooperation in the peaceful use of outer space between the Saudi government, represented by the Saudi Space Agency, and the government of India, represented by the Indian Space Research Organization. This partnership signifies a new era of collaboration in space exploration and research, fostering mutual benefits for both nations.
