Almarai Honors Winners of 16th Veterinary Medicine Award for GCC Countries

In a grand ceremony held at King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa, under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Eastern Province, and in the presence of Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, Almarai celebrated the achievements of the winners of the 16th Almarai Veterinary Medicine Award for GCC countries.

The prestigious award, hosted by King Faisal University, symbolizes Almarai’s unwavering dedication to promoting public health and improving food security in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.

Established in 2006, the Almarai Veterinary Medicine Award serves as a groundbreaking platform to honor exceptional veterinarians at both local and regional levels. It pays tribute to leaders and innovators in the crucial field of veterinary medicine, recognizing their pivotal role in safeguarding public health and ensuring the well-being of livestock, which in turn contributes to the growth of the national economy.

The award also underscores the significance of scientific research and practical applications, fostering innovation across various veterinary specialties while elevating the profession’s standing due to its positive impact on society.

Over the course of 16 years, the award has recognized 91 outstanding individuals, including researchers, students, and practitioners. The latest edition honored six distinguished specialists from Saudi Arabia and the GCC in different categories, along with two exceptional students.
