DUBAI Dubai Design Week kicked off its 10th edition on Wednesday, uniting over 1,000 designers, architects, and creatives from 50+ countries to exchange ideas and highlight the transformative power of design.

This year’s extravaganza boasts 40+ large-scale art installations, 10 major events, a leading design fair, limited-edition exhibition, talks, 60+ workshops, a weekend market event, and 150+ activities designed to inspire and engage visitors.

Over the last decade, Dubai Design Week has become a pivotal annual gathering for emerging and established designers, brands, and cultural institutions, solidifying Dubai’s status as the design hub of the Middle East.

With the patronage of Sheikha Latifa Al Maktoum and strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (D3), the event showcases the evolution of the design industry as technology, global collaborations, and changing consumer behaviors intersect.

Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Haidabi Design Group, applauded the event’s diversity and richness, positioning Dubai as a global hub for creativity and design.

Dr. Saeed bin Kharbash, CEO of the Arts and Literature Sector at Dubai Culture, emphasized the event’s support for local talent through initiatives like the Emirati Designers Exhibition and Dubai Design Week Market.

Natasha Carella, Director of Dubai Design Week, emphasized the event’s commitment to using design as a tool for positive change, tackling global issues, and championing sustainability and inclusivity.
