IKEA Alsulaiman opens new store in Madinah, enhancing retail sector
In a grand ceremony attended by Eng. Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Belaihshi, the Mayor of Madinah, IKEA Alsulaiman has officially opened its new store in Madinah. This launch signifies a significant milestone in Alsulaiman Group’s sustainable expansion journey within the Kingdom.
The opening ceremony was graced by Dr. Ghassan Alsulaiman, Chairman of Alsulaiman Group; Saud Alsulaiman, Group CEO; and representatives from various government and private sectors. The new store on Qassim Road near the Haramain High-Speed Rail station spans over 18,000 square meters, making it a convenient destination for IKEA customers in Madinah.
The three-floor store features a main showroom, market hall, self-service area, restaurant, and a play area for children “Småland”. With over 350 parking spaces, customers can enjoy a one-stop shopping experience with more than 7,000 home furnishing products.

Developed by Ehteraf Real Estate Development, a subsidiary of Alsulaiman Group, the store integrates eco-friendly solutions like solar power, energy-efficient lighting, water recycling, and a gray water treatment facility. The project also generates over 1,000 job opportunities with a Saudization rate exceeding 70%.
