West African Countries Gear Up for Annual Quran and Sunnah Competition

In a groundbreaking collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education in Mauritania, a highly anticipated competition is set to take place from October 15 to 19. This event will not only showcase the talents of 136 contestants from 16 countries but also aims to promote moderation and balance among the youth, all based on the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

With five judges dedicated to overseeing the Holy Quran competition and another five judges for the Sunnah competition, all of whom are experts in Quranic recitations and Hadith sciences, the competition promises to be a fierce yet enlightening battle of knowledge and skill.

The highlight of the event will be a three-day qualifying round leading up to the grand closing ceremony on October 19. And with a substantial total prize pool of SR1,218,000 up for grabs, the stakes are higher than ever for the contestants vying for the top honors.
