Riyadh’s PIF Appoints Fahad Al-Saif as Head of Investment Strategy & Economic Insights Division
In a bold move, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) has named Fahad Al-Saif as the new Head of the Investment Strategy & Economic Insights Division, effective immediately.
Al-Saif will not only continue in his current role as Head of the Global Capital Finance Division, but will also take on the critical task of shaping PIF’s investment strategy and keeping a close eye on market trends, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and achieving net zero goals. His role will involve utilizing cutting-edge economic research and analytics to guide top-level decision-making within PIF.
While overseeing the Global Capital Finance Division, Al-Saif will be in charge of PIF’s financing endeavors, including crafting capital finance strategies, managing government asset transfer projects, fundraising, structuring deals, and providing advisory services on funding matters.
Additionally, he will be responsible for cultivating relationships with financial institutions and investors, strengthening PIF’s global engagements and strategic partnerships. — SG
