HONOR Unveils Revolutionary HONOR 200 Series in Dubai
In a grand regional launch event in Dubai, HONOR, the global technology brand, introduced the all-new HONOR 200 Series. This series includes two cutting-edge models, the HONOR 200 Pro and HONOR 200, designed to revolutionize the smartphone experience and portrait photography with advanced AI features. The sleek design of the devices promises to reshape the way users interact with their smartphones, offering powerful capabilities across camera, chipset, display, and user interface. The HONOR 200 Series will first be available in UAE, KSA, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, with plans for a later rollout in South Africa.
The launch event was themed around “HONOR AI World,” inviting guests to explore the latest advancements in AI portrait photography with the HONOR 200 Series. Interactive zones and a shooting booth showcased the innovative AI technology that enhances portrait capturing on the devices.
Top executives at HONOR emphasized the brand’s significant growth in the Middle East, with a remarkable 154% year-over-year revenue increase in 2023 and a strong 90% revenue growth in the first half of 2024. The brand’s expansion in the premium segment saw an impressive 544% growth, reflecting consumer preference for HONOR in the competitive market.
Daniel Wang, MEA President, HONOR Middle East Africa, expressed his excitement about the launch of the HONOR 200 Series, stating that these models set new standards in AI portrait photography to meet the demands of consumers in the region.
The event also featured Dr. Ghalib Al Shammari, Chairman of The Saudi Society for Artificial Intelligence and Smart Systems, who shared insights on the future of AI and its transformative impact on society. He emphasized the role of AI in creating a more efficient and interconnected world, aligning with HONOR’s mission to innovate and enhance user experiences through cutting-edge AI technology.
Shaina Suchdev, COO of Studio Harcourt, highlighted the collaboration between Studio Harcourt and HONOR to develop the HONOR AI Portrait Engine. This partnership combines artistic heritage with AI technology to redefine portrait photography and deliver high-quality portraits with a unique style.
