Almarai Shines at Saudi Food 2024 Exhibition
RIYADH — Almarai stole the show at the second edition of the Saudi Food 2024 exhibition, which took place from May 21 to 23 at Roshn Front in Riyadh. With the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, as the patron of the event and strategic partnership with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), the exhibition boasted over 1,000 exhibitors hailing from more than 100 countries.
Minister Al-Khorayef was impressed during his visit to the Almarai pavilion, where he was briefed on the company’s efforts to elevate consumers’ daily lives with top-notch food and beverages. The spotlight was on Almarai’s bold five-year investment strategy, technological advancements in food manufacturing, and its future investment plans.
Recognizing Almarai’s contribution to the development of the food industry and food security in Saudi Arabia, the Minister lauded the company as a frontrunner in the sector.
Almarai’s Executive Vice President of the Food Service Division, Mohammed Alshuhail, delved into the specialized customer services provided through Almarai Pro, catering to a whopping 35,000 clients in the food service sector, including restaurants and hotels. He stressed the division’s unwavering commitment to quality and innovation.
Monther Mahmoud Tayeb, the Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications at Almarai, highlighted the company’s significant role in the food and beverage industry in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region through its participation in the exhibition. He emphasized that Almarai’s investment strategy for 2024-2028 aims to solidify its position as the largest vertically integrated dairy company globally and a pioneer in the regional food sector. — SG
