Lieutenant General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya Explores Innovative Technologies at NEOM
In a groundbreaking visit, Lieutenant General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, Director General of Passports (Jawazat), toured NEOM, the revolutionary sustainable development project in northwest Saudi Arabia.
Upon his arrival, Al-Yahya was warmly greeted by NEOM’s CEO, Nadhmi Al-Nasr, who guided him through a comprehensive tour of NEOM Bay Airport and its state-of-the-art command-and-control center, showcasing the cutting-edge facilities within the development.
One of the highlights of the visit was Al-Yahya’s inspection of the latest innovations at NEOM Bay Airport, including the upcoming contactless eGates equipped with high-resolution cameras for capturing travelers’ biometrics. This advanced system, currently in the testing phase, aims to revolutionize passport control processes and provide a seamless travel experience for international visitors, solidifying Saudi Arabia’s position as a leader in automated border control technology.
