JEDDAH — The Community Jameel Saudi Foundation has released its highly anticipated 2023 Annual Report, showcasing a plethora of impactful programs and initiatives meticulously designed to elevate economic, social, environmental, and technological development in alignment with the ambitious Vision 2030 of Saudi Arabia.
Driving Development and Progress
Throughout the past year, Community Jameel Saudi has collaborated closely with various sectors to kickstart transformative efforts, benefiting a remarkable 36,043 individuals and contributing to a cumulative total of 891,015 beneficiaries since its inception.
Commitment to Vision 2030
Hassan Jameel, Vice President of Abdul Latif Jameel, underscored the foundation’s unwavering dedication to propelling the Kingdom towards Vision 2030 through the implementation of impactful initiatives and programs. The foundation is steadfast in its mission to forge ahead on the path of development and enhancement in 2024, ensuring that its endeavors leave a lasting imprint on Saudi Arabia’s advancement and future prosperity.
Noteworthy Achievements
Remarkable progress was achieved in competency development, with Bab Rizq Jameel commemorating its 20th anniversary by facilitating the creation of one million job opportunities. The launch of innovative initiatives such as the Skills Kit portal, the Virtual Jobs Fair, and Training Ending with Employment programs in the coffee sector have been met with acclaim. Furthermore, 100 students participated in the enriching Space Science Camp, immersing themselves in the realm of space industry and cutting-edge technologies.
Empowering Women and Entrepreneurs
In the sphere of women empowerment, the Nafisa Shams Academy introduced an e-learning platform accredited by the National Center for E-Learning, benefiting 232 trainees and providing vocational training to 54 women. Initiatives like the “Fashion Bootcamp” and “Fashion in Film Production” in AlUla bolstered Saudi female entrepreneurs and trainees in the fashion sector. Nafisa Shams Company celebrated a milestone of producing one million products and inaugurated a specialized production center to support SMEs and entrepreneurs.
Fostering Entrepreneurial Spirit
The Entrepreneurs’ advancement pillar saw the successful seventh edition of the StartSmart Competition, offering equity-free cash prizes to over 5,095 individuals and organizing engaging meetups and the “Social Media Lab” event for digital marketing enthusiasts.
Humanitarian Initiatives and Recognition
Humanitarian efforts remained a key focus, with substantial contributions to the Public Relief Campaign for the Palestinian People, collaborations with Bonyan Society for Social Services, and the provision of essential health services, housing support, and educational opportunities for those in need. The “Hemam Jameel” program equipped individuals with special needs with e-commerce skills, while the “Tanweer Jameel” program rewarded academically excellent orphan students with educational trips to Japan and Thailand.

Abdul Latif Jameel Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation served 7,960 patients in 2023, earning CARF accreditation for its exceptional services.
