ALULA REACHES MILESTONE IN SHARAAN RESORT DEVELOPMENT
ALULA — The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has achieved a significant milestone in the construction of the Sharaan Resort, with the commencement of rock excavation in the Sharaan Nature Reserve.
This crucial step marks the beginning of a project that combines Jean Nouvel’s architectural vision with Bouygues Construction’s engineering expertise, demonstrating a dedication to sustainable and cutting-edge building practices.
Nestled in the stunning landscapes of AlUla, Saudi Arabia, the Sharaan Resort is crafted to deliver a one-of-a-kind eco-luxury experience, deeply rooted in the region’s cultural heritage.
The resort will boast 38 custom-designed suites carved into the sandstone mountains, as well as extensive wellness facilities, family-friendly amenities, diverse dining options, and breathtaking panoramic views, offering a serene and opulent encounter with the beauty of AlUla.
This project is in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the AlUla Sustainability Charter, with the goal of leading the way in sustainable development while minimizing environmental impact and elevating luxury tourism in northwest Arabia.
