The Social Development Bank Receives Prestigious Award from Digital Government Authority

The Social Development Bank (SDB), renowned for its pivotal role in driving comprehensive development in the Middle East, was recently lauded by the Digital Government Authority with a prestigious plaque. This recognition was a testament to SDB’s innovative contributions to the Riyadh Gov Jam challenge, a platform dedicated to enhancing digital government services. The award ceremony, held during the LEAP Tech Event 2024 in Riyadh from March 4th to March 7th, served as a momentous occasion for SDB.

Standing out for its exceptional innovation, SDB distinguished itself among participants by spearheading groundbreaking solutions and involving diverse community segments in the process of designing and innovating government services. Mr. Mohammed Alorini, Acting Executive Vice President for the Business Sector, graciously accepted the plaque on behalf of SDB, showcasing the organization’s commitment to driving digital transformation.

This accolade underscores SDB’s unwavering efforts to foster a culture of innovation within the community, offering guidance and essential information to challenge participants. These initiatives underscore SDB’s dedication to digitalization through its non-financial services, with a focus on enhancing customer experiences in self-employment products and services.

The Riyadh Gov Jam challenge serves as a catalyst for improving public services by inspiring participants to translate creative ideas into tangible models. Emphasizing idea generation, action planning, relationship building, and prototype presentation, the challenge encourages innovative solutions to address societal needs.

Furthermore, SDB’s commitment to excellence was further validated when it received the silver prize for Best Digital Customer Experience in Saudi Arabia by Awards International, in partnership with CX KSA and the Saudi CX Association in late January. This award, conferred for the Social Development Bank Portal initiative, underscored SDB’s exceptional performance in the Advanced Customer Experience category within the Best Digital Customer Experience track.
